Greetings-we are recruiting for a well established automotive supplier of mechanical components in Clinton TN that has an immediate need for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer-The salary will go to $110k.-
To be responsible for engineering activities relating to the design, validation, assembly and testing for existing and new products.
Scope of Duties:
❑ Designs, coordinates, and implements product design changes and other related activities such as validation testing, prototype build, etc.
❑ Creates and updates drawings, test reports and data documentation as required.
❑ Supports quality and production with activities relating to the product and process.
❑ Works under the supervision of the Engineering Manager.
❑ Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
❑ Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
❑ Minimum of 10 years direct applicable experience.
❑ Working knowledge of CAD software. Experience with SolidWorks software
preferred, but not required.
❑ Strong mechanical aptitude.
❑ Knowledge of manufacturing technologies for plastic and metal components preferred, but not required.
❑ Experience with machining and welding is preferred, but not required.
❑ Automotive industry experience required.
